Getting a Girlfriend

If you’re trying to build up skills to talk to that gorgeous girl, practice on the ugly less… visually gifted first. The reason I put “RL” (real-life) in the title is that if you go try and suck up to “girls” you meet in RPGs, they usually:

• have a boyfriend (or boyfriends)
• have a giant male entourage pawing at the sight of breasts
• have a penis

That last reason is the one you want to look out for. If you get yourself trapped into thinking you’re involved with a woman online. BAM, next thing you know it, you’re 500 gold short, wearing a Cloth Shirt of “You got fooled, son”. For those reasons, start talking to other girls. These girls are in your class, where you work, or on the bus.

You don’t need to be romantically interested, work on developing a charm or some sort of likeness. Next thing you know, your RL character will be getting attribute points in Charisma!

Learn how to make them feel like they’re getting your attention. I’ll write more articles on things you can talk about but let me give you a quick start:

She couldn’t give a damn about what you want to say. Nope, not a bit. You could be winning an Oscar tonight or you could have hit level 70. Doesn’t matter. Ask questions, appear interested and sincere.
